My Holiday Break

Christmas was flipping schweet. I got DVD box sets for How I Met Your Mother and Dead Like Me. When I made my list, I thought about asking for My Name is Earl too, but I figured it would be a better gift to get for my dad, so my mom and I did. And now I'm addicted to that show. It's so hilarious, and I adore Randy's simple mindedness and innocence...and when he goes off on long rants like these:

"Yeah I'm glad she's not dead no more. Being dead is definitely worse than being alive. When you're dead you can't do all the cool stuff you can do when you're alive. You and I, we can do all kinds of cool stuff cuz we're living, we're not dead, we're alive. If we were dead we wouldn't be able to do all the cool stuff we can do, becuz we're alive. Dead people can't do cool stuff. Only people that are alive can do cool stuff, cuz they're living, and you have to be living to be able to do cool stuff. You have to be alive. Yeah, 'cept when you're alive sometimes bad stuff happens too. Like sometimes you can get into a car wreck, or you can have a headache or twist your ankle or even stub your big toe... So being alive is kinda hard too, but I think it's definitely better than being dead..."

"Man, I wish I had robot legs. Or robot hands. Robot hands would be cool. With like a knife finger, and a spoon finger, and a fork finger, and a toothbrush finger, and a comb finger, and a bottle opener finger, and a flashlight finger, and a screwdriver finger. But regular thumbs. You gotta have regular thumbs."

XD XD XD XD XD

Anyhoo, I also got lots of manga to read, and my parents got me a Nintedo DS Lite! :D Even though it's not the Nintendo Wii that I wanted, it's still pretty cool, and definately an improvement over the original DS.

A few days after Christmas, my family and I took the usual trip into NYC, and one of my friends got to come along too. :) At the Nintendo World Store in Rockefeller Center, they had plushies from Animal Crossing, so I spazzed and bought 3 of those: K.K. Slider, Copper, and the girl (although now I regret not buying more because they probably won't be there the next time I get to take a trip there. T_T). I also bought a plushie of Toad from the Mario series, 3 Mario figures (Mario, Luigi, and Toad. If they had any Yoshis left, I would've gotten him too, but they were sold out.), and a little Bowser go-kart from the Mario Kart games. I'll be taking pictures of my stuff eventually, so I'll post them here.

And for other things...I finally went out and bought myself a copy of Chibi-Robo! for the GameCube the other day since the price is now much cheaper. It's a cute little game, and I'm hooked! I hope the next game for it that's supposed to come out on the DS will be just as fun. :)

See ya! ;)
